Behavior Intervention Design and Implementation

Provide behavioral intervention including the assessment and design as well as the implementation of behavior intervention plans or modification of behavior intervention plans.

Assessment

Board Certified Behavior Analysts are an integral part of keeping our students regulated and in their classroom environments. Their assessments include the following:

  • Case history, including education, socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds and information from teachers and other related service providers

  • Patient/client/student and family interview

  • Functional Behavior Assessment

  • Design of positive behavior interventions

  • Identification of potential for effective intervention strategies and compensations

  • Follow-up services to monitor progress and ensure appropriate intervention and support for individuals with various chronic illness

Services

Applied Behavior Analysts help to keep our students and staff safe and regulated through the following additional services:

  • Help students and families get access to additional services.

  • Coordinate care by communicating with the family and school staff and team.

  • Educate families on what services are available to their child at school.

  • Implement positive behavior support systems to keep student, peers and staff safe

  • Collaborate with school staff to carry over positive behavior support systems for optimal performance by individual students.
